Terms of Service
These terms apply to your use of Well Services App and its companion web version, operated by Ronald Niddrie. By using the service, you agree to these terms. Any purchase page may also show plan, price, renewal, cancellation and payment-provider information that forms part of your agreement.
Field-reference warning: Well Services is a quick-reference, calculator and training aid. It is not an approved operating programme, well-control procedure, engineering design, risk assessment, permit, manufacturer certificate or substitute for competent professional judgement.
Named-User Licence
Subject to payment and an active entitlement where required, you receive a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the service. A licence is for one named user. You must not share account credentials, resell access, publish or redistribute the app or its datasets, bypass access controls, scrape the service, or copy substantial parts to create a competing product.
Acceptable Use
- Use the service lawfully and only for legitimate reference, calculation, training and record-keeping purposes.
- Check every figure, input, unit and result against current company procedures, approved programmes, manufacturer data and the tool's current certification before operational use.
- Do not upload, synchronise or post confidential company information unless you are authorised to store it in the relevant service.
- Do not interfere with the service, attempt unauthorised access, introduce malicious code, or misuse another user's account or content.
Your Content and Saved Data
You retain responsibility for information you enter, import or post. Browser-only data remains on that browser unless you deliberately enable account sync. If account sync is enabled, account copies are stored to provide cross-device access. The original spreadsheet selected for schematic import is not uploaded by the importer.
Community Features
Community content is peer discussion, not verified operational instruction. Do not post confidential company information, personal data, live operational instructions or safety-critical well details. Content may be moderated or removed where reasonably necessary to protect users, comply with law or operate the service.
Subscriptions, Payment and Cancellation
Before purchase, the checkout will identify the plan, total price, billing interval, renewal terms, payment provider and how to cancel. Payments and applicable taxes may be handled by a merchant-of-record provider. Cancellation stops future renewal in accordance with the checkout terms; access may continue until the end of the paid period. Nothing in these terms removes consumer rights or remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Availability and Changes
The service may be updated, corrected, suspended or withdrawn. Reasonable efforts will be made to keep paid features available, but uninterrupted or error-free operation cannot be guaranteed, particularly on offshore, restricted or unreliable networks. Material changes to paid access will be communicated where reasonably practicable.
Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, you remain responsible for operational decisions and for checking the service's output before use. Well Services is not responsible for losses caused by relying on unverified figures, incorrect inputs, outdated third-party information, use outside the stated purpose, or failure to follow approved procedures. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability where doing so would be unlawful.
Ending Access
Access may be suspended or ended for non-payment, credential sharing, redistribution, security abuse, unlawful use or a serious breach of these terms. Where appropriate, reasonable notice or an opportunity to correct the issue will be provided.
Privacy
The Privacy Notice explains how information is handled and how optional account sync works. The Refund Policy explains cancellation and refund arrangements for purchases handled by Paddle.
